Description:
Cannon "Unicorn". Unicorns in Russian artillery were used as siege, field, horse and mountain guns, as well as in the Navy. Thanks to such guns artillery was able to accompany their infantry in combat, firing over their heads battle formations.
Unicorns were used more than 100 years, until enrolling at troops rifled guns. Separate copies remain in some fortresses until the early 20th century.
